Keine Sicht, aber mit Neuschnee bedeckte Pisten 🙃
On Wednesday I went skiing with my stepfather in Hinterstoder (Upper Austria). The slopes were really amazing for skiing, since they were covered in fresh snow and often not many people drove on them. However, most of the time it was pretty foggy, which was sometimes really funny, but quite challenging to find our way back to the ski lift. In general I really liked this ski region, since there were many different types of slopes and some longer ones as well ;)
Am Mittwoch war ich mit meinem Stiefvater Skifahren in Hinterstoder (Oberösterreich). Die Pisten waren wirklich super zum Skifahren, da sie mit Neuschnee bedeckt waren und oft nicht viele Leute darauf fuhren. Meistens war es jedoch ziemlich neblig, was manchmal wirklich lustig war, aber es uns auch recht schwierig machte den Weg zurück zum Skilift zu finden. Generell mochte ich dieses Skigebiet wirklich sehr, da es viele verschiedene Pistenarten gab und auch ein paar längere ;)

Die Seilbahn im Nebel schaut schon bissl geisterhaft aus, zumal wenn kaum Menschen auf den Sitzen zu sehen sind. brrr

Nice photos. That looks like it would be amazing to ski through! How was the snow, though? Was it still powdery, with the fog and moisture? It's amazing how winter fog freezes to the trees like that. Great photos of the trees, especially :-)
I wish I could still ski, but my eyesight has gotten too bad. I had a few bad calamities and decided to sell the skis before getting hospitalized or killed.

It really was amazing and the snow was almost perfect, since it was fresh an quite powdery (at least in the morning, in the afternoon some slopes got a bit icy...)

I do a lot of winter hiking and photography. Cross country skiing isn't really my thing. If next year is as snowy as this one, I may have to invest in one of those weird-looking bulbous-tired bicycles. Those look fun!

The same is here in Bulgaria now ! So thick fog and snowing almost every night. Good that there are some hours where the sun tries to go through the fog :))

Wunderschöne Bilder. Bei mir in der Nähe gibt es auch zwei Berge zum Ski fahren, leider hatten wir dieses Jahr aber zu wenig Schnee, so blieben diese geschlossen. Naja da muss ich eben auf den nächsten Ski Urlaub warten.

Bei uns ist es zwar eiskalt, aber von Schnee leider nix zu sehen. Der Boden ist spiegelglatt und der Wind bügelt einem die letzte Falte aus dem Gesicht :) Aber wer weiß vielleicht kommt ja noch was nach.
