been used to taking photos and videos on instagram and now it's become something more? something else?!
yep, instagram stories has arrived (some saying it's a duplicate of snapchat) and we have something new to understand. i've never had an up to date smartphone so i'm a bit behind the scenes with technology when it comes to recording on the go with the new modern phones - i'm still rocking my ipad 2 mini retina and desperate need of an upgrade!

we take a look around the new feature and hopefully give you a few pointers about how you can intergrate it into your day to help you storytell what you are up to and to understand the 24hr format a little easier.
in this course. . ..
- looking around the interface using reflector 2 from my ipad
- getting into a routine - 24hr window before the content vanishes
- mobility issues to consider for recording structure for each day
- looking at stats and engagement and considerations there to increase it!
i recorded the screen from my ipad using a great application called reflector2 if your looking to make similar videos. it's a great app for the mac you should grab it and give it a go! :)
the opportunity to push content to an audience waiting for updates is huge here especially if you create content 'ahead of time' - thinking a process of having remote workers making dedicated portrait infographics or 'time sensitive' content to really add to the story making process.
