Slack gets an upgrade under the hood and a facelift

A few weeks ago I posted some concerns regarding the Slack App. My biggest concern was performance, a few months ago I noticed that this application used a lot of your processing and it seemed to keep this activity running in the background causing some internal eating up of the battery and other issues.
It looks like the company has taken these issues back to the drawing board and have even spent some time on the front end as well. So far performance and GUI has been upgraded and its almost like Slack has been given performance and front end features remodeled.

The new CSS looks like the implementation out of the new Firefox technology with the CSS grid tools.
Their load time has also been looked at and improved in this area as well. They also worked on their code for the developers area for anyone who needs to use their API's.
