The condition in which individuals are own and controlled by others, used against their well, their wellbeing, be it physical or mental, what you eat, where and when they sleep is termed slavery.
Being a slave is to be owned by another individual, a person in this state is classified as a human property who is forced to undergo payless labour.

The history of slavery had run far back in the BCs through nationalities, religions and culture from ancient times to our current civilization.
FORMS OF SLAVERY
Slavery had taken many forms in its existence. Just a few I will like to state are;
*CHATTEL SLAVERY
The chattel slavery is the kind of slavery where human property or slave does the bidding of their masters. This includes sexual favours, farm labour, trade off etc.

*DEBT BONDAGE
This form of slavery is use humans as collateral to settle debt. Such persons serve the rest of their lives labouring for their masters for the rest of their life since on most cases, such debts are usually not settled. The most vulnerable in this kind of slavery are children.

*FORCED LABOUR
This kind of slavery is the use of force that makes a person submit to do ones bidding. An example of such slavery was the overwhelming extends in king Leopold’s Congo Free State and on Portuguese plantations of Cape Verde and San Tome.
We can all attest to the fact that slavery “Human Properties” has end. That was years ago thanks to democracy.
At long last, the battle has ended! And thus Ghana, our beloved country is free for ever.

If you are forced to pay taxes, are you not a slave to some specific extent? You don't have one master, you are owned by a multitude. As for your mind? No one can force you to think something... that, you give up by choice. You are always free to change your mind. Whether or not you may act upon your beliefs, determines the level of slavery to which you are subject. Jesus Christ set us free. Merry Christmas.
