I'm done outlining the main design elements of this Steem inspired painting. It's 16 x 20 inches, acrylic paint on canvas. I really do have a lot of fun coming up with funky shapes and juxtapositions. I still want this painting to fit in with my other 80's inspired paintings style wise. I look at it sort of like creating different levels in a video game. I want each one to be completely different, but, still obviously part of the same game from one to the next.
Next it's time to add some color! I think I'm going to go with grey and white for the main background colors. I'm still not 100% sure. The first thing I'll have to do is find some blues that match the Steem logo. I have lots of different blues,I should be able to find some that are pretty close. Stay tuned to see how it develops!
