Abstract "art" 3D Bubble

Was in need of a break, and couldn't for the life of me think of a good 3D printable design idea.

Well, ok, I could think of a few, but most required manipulating relatively complex models that would have slowed my computer to a crawl, so I just went with this (non-printable / very difficult to print) idea instead.

It's a sphere made entirely using a primitive form, combined with a lot of Beveling of points, lines and faces, as well as some Extrusion here and there.

Then, I rounded the entire thing and cut half away, to fuse it with a primitive rectangular shape.
here it is on Vectary

and a view from the inside:

Hmmm...
I need to make myself a banner with my Ethereum address in it when Vectary comes out with that big update...

Pretty nice.
Did you have a look to MandelBulb http://www.mandelbulb.com/ ?

I've seen it before, 3D fractals are awesome !
