HAPPY NEW MONTH FAMS!!!

This artwork was inspired by so many designs I have been coming across lately. I was just wondering how a one eye slothicorn will looked like, then i remembered @stellabelle display picture, zoom!!!, i got the rhema to draw the slothicorn. The background, the calender, the TV and other stuffs idea came from constantly looking at @dunsky artwork i've been studying lately; he has really inspired me.

Can you guess what Slothicorn is looking at in the TV? I will give you a tip which was shared by @tojukaka in one of his posts on Facebook.

Lol...It just a tip though , probably sloth is seeing a different thing, we will leave that for @slothicorn to decide.

The sketches were not really hard, because I had good reference pictures that I could depend on for the painting. So, I started off with sketching the slothicorn, the TV, and the sofa, etc.

I started painting by filling in the midtones, for the body, legs, hands, nose, and the lips.

I added the highlights and the shadows. I wanted my slothy to look real lazy, so i made the head looked big and heavy, and the stomach round and shiny.lol

I added the fill layer to the TV. I sketched this from one of @dunsky artwork. It was cool, because i didn't have to search the Internet so much to get a reference photo.

I added the fill to the sofa sketch. I wanted to draw a soft armless chair, that slothy can't rest on anytime. Slothy loves things like this.

I used a Red fill, i wanted to reflect a Valentine colour. I don't know whether its portrayed it. But i'm cool with the red though.

I added some light reflection on the floor, some design on wall; i didn't really come out well for me, so i decided to blur it out. It was better when i did that.

I added some valentine love picture frames on wall, popcorn and drink bottle (slothicorn was really having fun)

After everything, i still felt i should add something to it. It was looking empty to me, so i decided to put in a calendar to the artwork. Hope this will be helpful to someone.
