Long time no chat. I've been going to town on streaming on DLive and posting on Zappl, but haven't made a SmartCash post. Let's correct that now. We will talk about:
- My SmartNode Status
- My Mining Progress
- The 1.1 Update
SmartNode Status
We are up to 6 payments so far!
That's a 10% return on investment in just over a month.
The goal is to leave this baby running for at least a year before re-evaluating the crypto landscape and deciding how to proceed. With the node rewards and smart rewards I should be able to get a decent return on the investment.
SmartCash Mining
The GTX 1080 TI has been putting in some work for me while I'm not actively using my computer. Check out the earning it has made for me:
The payments have been trickling in and it feels good man.
It seems like a small amount now, but when SmartCash moons this $2.35 of SmartCash will be worth a lot more!
SmartCash software updates
The Wallet update was easy to apply and sync'd quickly. I would say the 1.1 update only took 15 minutes total.
The SmartNode update took a bit longer, but that's just because I had some difficulties re-connecting to my node. Afterwards the instructions were straight forward.

Nice! I'm happy to see the node payout situation seems to be straightened out. I've been thinking really hard about go for node. It's either that or spend the money on video cards, haven't decided yet. GPU's seem more versatile but if smart price does start to take off, I may regret not getting the node when I could. Anyway, nice post. I like the updates.

Does the ROI on your mining overpower the expenses running it? I've heard so many people say the power costs get a bit much running a single rig or multiple rigs.

Currently yes it does cover the cost at the current rate I'm earning it and the current value of the coin. Another thing to consider when mining a low market cap coin is that potential for it to grow in value.
