To become a successful SmartNode operator in a long term, masternode MUST be reliable and secure with stable internet connection. Therefore don't be cheap out you're SmartCash masternode.
What is a SmartNode?
SmartNode will help to validate the SmartCash InstantPay transactions and provides the anonymity for the coins on the network. And it only take a second to validate an InstantPay transactions. So the SmartCash adoption by local merchants is now in reality.
To become a illegible SmartNode operator you need to lock a minimum of 10,000 SmartCash in the wallet, 20GB storage, a minimum of 1GB RAM, static IP address and maintain a near perfect uptime. MasterNodes needs to be online and stable 24/7 to accomplish what they are meant to do for the network. In return you will receive SmartRewards.
Where I can setup SmartNode?
Running SmartNode at home is possible but more costly than to rent out a dedicated server. And the Digital Ocean is one of the most reliable dedicated server I ever tried. Excellent, it is great that you are making these great advances with respect to Instantpay, although currently I will not be able to do Smartnodes, I do not have so much SmartCash in my wallet and I have a big problem with IP.
