Casablanca

Casablanca is the largest city in Morocco. Located about 95 km south of the Moroccan capital Rabat on the Atlantic coast.
It is one of a series of Moroccan cities along the shores of the Atlantic. It was developed from a small, unattractive port at the turn of the 20th century to a large city which is today the economic and commercial capital of the Kingdom of Morocco,
Casablanca is the economic capital of Morocco [29]. This city is the industrial pole of the country concentrated 55% of the productive units and 60% of the labor force in the industry. The city employs 39% of the active population in Morocco and consumes 35% of the national electricity consumption. It represents the first financial arena in Morocco and the Maghreb [30] and has headquarters of several national, international and multinational companies in North Africa and West Africa. Casablanca Stock Exchange is considered the most important in the region, the first in the Maghreb and the third in Africa after the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, the Cairo Stock Exchange and the third in the Arab world after the Riyadh Stock Exchange and the Cairo Stock Exchange with a market value of 60 billion dollars
