Tree in the night

in smartphonephotography •  7 years ago

You may have passed by one and the same tree for years. You know how it looks in different seasons, in different parts of the day. You may even remember how it looked like 15 years ago. Familiar places and things seem plain and totally understandable. You cast a glance and you think, "Aha, I see everything, I know every centimeter of this place". But what if the daylight not opens every tiniest detail to your eyes, but actually helps to disguise the true nature of things by making you believe that everything is obvious, clearly seen on the surface? Making you less attentive because you believe that nothing is hidden? As if the daylight is an illusionist who asks "Are you watching?" And while you are looking at something evident, which comes to the front, the true trick is happening unnoticed... What if during the night all the familiar places look differently, mysteriously, because the secrets are let out and there is no need for cover any more.... 27496596_1622408507826308_384602039_n.jpg
