Hi Dears!
Here is my entrance to the this week @smartphoto contest! For this week: Week 6 - Black&White Photography!
The Mathematical Bridge in Cambridge, it was designed by William Etheridge, and built by James Essex in 1749 from a sophisticated engineering design, hence the name. Its original name is simply Wooden Bridge. It is the oldest bridge on the river Cam and connects parts of the Queen's College.
There is a story that says that Sir Isaac Newton without the use of nuts or bolts, but that is not possible because Newton died in 1727, before the bridge even existed.
If you are interested in to know more about the bridge here I let you a link.
I captured it in Cambridge with my Samsung S4.
Hope you like it!
