Happy Friday! Many of us enjoy strawberries because they taste good but they also have many health benefits. Strawberries are high in vitamin C promoting healthy skin and eyes, high in potassium which is good for the heart, and high in fiber for digestive health. Combined with the green tea this is another excellent smoothie packed with antioxidants.
- 1 cup green tea (chilled)
- 1 banana
- 1/2 orange
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
Put all ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy!
this sounds great, I am aware of the positive effects green tea can have on you, but I dont like this taste, this seems like it will help. I will be trying this.

As well as antioxidants I hear that green tea contains polyphenols, allegedly these provide a variety of protective benefits for the body. I look forward to trying this smoothie
