A little unknown fact about these bright orange fruits is they are a Natural Relief For Hiccups!

Choosing and storing Persimmons

There are lots of variety of persimmons, when purchasing one look for  persimmons that have deep, saturated colors. If there are 'black streaks' running through the skin, its ok, these are ripe and sweet.

Storing - one they have been picked they will continue to ripen, so if you are not ready to eat straight away, go for a slighlty less ripened one and leave in a fruit bowl to soften.  DO NOT REFIGERATE, it results in chill damage .

Nice post!

I love persimmons!
This looks absolutely amazingly delicious. When I saw the color of the smoothie, without reading the title at first, I thought it was pumpkin spice. It's such a rich color!

I know does look a bit like that, I think its the spices that make it this colour. Tastes fab
