Snopes claims to be the judge on whether a story is true or not. Unfortunately, this is often not true at all. I fact check Snopes on their story about the #WalkAway Movement- and if the official campaign used stock pictures. While Snopes found that someone made a meme about the campaign- there was zero evidence that it was done by the campaign and rated this story as "Mixed." This is an example of Snopes blatant disregard for the truth, and muddies the water by publishing unrelated opinions on the official fact check article about the #WalkAway Movement. I examine the article and discuss the merits of what Snopes published.
