Did you know about Banyak Island? It located in Aceh Singkil. People called it as Banyak Island because there are more than 80 island here.
There are 2 options If you want to go there. First, from Aceh Province. If you come from Aceh, you can go from Banda Aceh -Meulaboh -Tapak Tuan - Aceh Singkil. And you will spend time about 17 hours. After that you must spend your time about 4 hours on the boat to across the island. Second, from North Sumatera Province. You can stop at the airport and continue your trip by minibus to Aceh Singkil about 9 hours and 4 hours to across the island.
At first, there are about 90 islands here. But now just 60 islands. Some of them we're lost because of Tsunami in 2004. You can snorkeling, diving, surfing, fishing, and others. You will fall in love with the colour of these islands. And the most important, you will find serenity.
