Given enough time there won't be enough users here that even know the difference between being abused by bullies for profit and being rewarded for rewarding 'good' content.

Well, here it is 2 years later, the price has been on the way down since it had to float on proof of wallet.
When do we go back to rewarding good content with financial incentives greater than linear rewards allows?
When does the community get a say in rewards more commensurate with their numbers?

Being valuable to the less than 70 accounts with more than 500mv is less valuable to steem than being valuable to the ~40k of us that post here every day.

If the 500mv soft cap was enforced, until the middle class here could dilute the votes of the whales a lot more, we could slowly raise that 250k usd influence limit.

I know that many of you that will read this subscribe to the popularity pool way of managing your lives, that worked well under the old rules.
