Welcome to week 24 of the SoCal Spotlight!

Each week the SoCal Spotlight highlights five of the awesome posts from #socalsteemit! So, lets dive on in and see what kind of cool stuff the SoCal Steemians have been posting about this week!

The top of this week unequivocally goes down to @bxlphabet and his post that absolutely pulls at anyone's heart strings. It entails his troubles paying the rent at the moment, his living situations and opening up to the fullest. Hands down this is a must read but you will need a tissue as well as a reality check. Our second spotlight of this week goes out to @creationofcare and her wonderful post on her day at Silverwood lake. In a beautiful secluded area her and @mattlovell fished off the dock. The day was not complete without the antics of their dog brisket. A nice evening to say the least, check it out!

The third installment to this week comes from @mattlovell in his quest to get a good Bonsai garden going. From failed elms to successfully rooted Gunrae Satsuki, Matt talks of a very important topic to those that grow their own plants, and that's pruning.

The fourth edition to this weeks spotlight is @dawg-boy an his spectacular build of an outdoor light. This thing goes from spare parts to stunning. Dazzling even the most sporadic seafarer, this light adds a ton of decoration. This light is ingenious.

Ending this weeks spotlight is spectacular artwork by @zetetrahedron369 depicted as a psychedelic bottle. The artwork was recently transferred to some new owners, but this is colorful to say the least.
