Racial realignment in American politics?

He's putting a really significant amount here on 2024 polling 8 months out from the election before the primaries are over. If you remove 2024 here, the trend is a lot less clear.

Like the discussion is plausible (people really underestimate how conservative the non-white Democratic coalitions are, especially Black Democrats), but polling this early is fairly noisy. Let's revisit this in November 2024 before we get ahead of ourselves.

Though even if true, it is funny how the GOP is becoming more racist and alienating to non-white voters during a time when they could be making inroads.

Even among Hispanics though it is really complicated. Cuban Americans are fairly receptive to the GOP. But other Hispanic groups less so. And even among Cuban Americans there is a stark age divide. The Hispanic voter bloc is really like 10 different voter blocs.
