MY EXPERIENCE IN IED FITRI DAY

Idul Fitri is the one of important day for moeslim. Idul Fitri is helding on 1st Syawal after Ramadhan. All Moeslim in the world celebrate Idul Fitri together after Fasting in a month(Ramadhan).

In the morning, me and my family do Idul Fitri Prayer in Mosque. The mosque is in front of my home. The Khatib of Idul Fitri Prayer is Mr. Saiful Akmal, MA. He is my lecturer, I shock when i see him. After do prayer, there are halal bi halal event in mosque. We shake hand each other, it means we do apologize each other. I have unforgettable moment at that time. That is I met my childhood friends. We never meet anymore. Because, most of them leave home for study in other territory. So, Idul Fitri is the time for us to meet.

After halal bi halal at mosque, we go home and then I do apologize to my parents. As our tradition, We have to do apologize to my parents in Idul Fitri. After that, Me and My Family go to my grandfather and grandmother’s grave. We recite Al Qur’an and Dua for them. Then we back home to continue the traditions of idul fitri That is eat Ketupat or Lontong. That is the food we must have in Idul Fitri.

After that, We do Silaturrahmi. Silaturrahmmi is the important thing in idul fitri. Because, we regain our relationship with relatives and friends. I go to my teacher’s home first. For me that is the obligation, after parent, teacher is the person that really help us to live. Teacher give us the knowledge, that with knowledge we can live as a normal person. I do apologize to my teacher and eat Lontong again. Then I back home and i go to my relative and friend’s home with my family. Most of them asked us to eat lontong again but we feel really full. However, we eat lontong again for Respect them. Then we go home to take a rest. We feel so tired.

In the next day, I go to my friend’s home, not only for silaturrahmi, But I asked them to go to our School’s teacher. Because, I miss my teachers and I would not go alone. Then we go to our teacher’s home and my friend asked me to go to Mrs. Erosita’s home. She is our best Teacher when we were in Vocational High School. Since I graduated, I never met her anymore. So, in idul fitri moment, we meet again. After that we go to other teachers. We have a lot of teacher and we not go to all teacher.

In the next day, I go to some place that can refresh my brain with my friend. We go there for eat, play games, and do everything what we want. Because, I feel really exhausted in my college. So, I need to refresh my brain.
Idul Fitri in this year is not really different with previous years. Because I do same activities and the same place. I do not have new experience.
