This post is about Google, taking responsibility and helping society in it's own way.
First of all, let's get some facts about the lack of drinkable water around the world.
Every 1 out of 9 people in the world live without clean water.
Women are often responsible for collecting water. This takes time away from work, school and caring for family.
Every 30 seconds a child dies from a water-related disease.
So, how is Google related to all of it?
It's goal is to bring clean drinking water to people in developing countries.
There are lots of different none-profit organization with the exact same goal.
The difference is that this specific organization teamed-up with google's initiative.
The initiative is called " Google For Nonprofits ".
This project is aimed to help none-profit organizations to promote their activity for free via Google's products.
This partnership excelled the digital aspect of the organization and brought more traffic, visitors and video views.
The results are total donations of 1.8 Million Dollars which helped more than 60,000 people in developing countries !
