When did Socialism become hip?

I blame the universities. They are infested with this groupthink. There is only one point of view offered. Something like 90% of college profs are liberal. So the kids get indoctrinated with one point of view. It is the post modernist point of view. They think that logic and reason are tools of the oppressors. Feelings trump reason. There are only different groups vying violently for power. That is the reason they won't have conversations, only mindless chanting aimed at shutting down intelligent discussion. They think that the individual is nothing, you are just a representative of your group. "You're a white male!".

A very sad state of affairs.

Agreed! Nobody is taught to think critically anymore, just to "feel" our way through it
