Sad to see that Klout is shutting its doors on May 25. It is a great service. Too bad the people who bought it (Lithium Technologies) didn't use it for its original purpose - helping people monitor their online influence.
Oh well, it's one less thing to worry about. My score has gone down a lot since I spend more time on platforms that allow me to earn money, but don't count towards Klout score.
Still proud of the book that Terry Brock and I wrote. There are a lot of good principles in it about online engagement and influence.
We had so much fun speaking about Klout all over the world.
This photo at the top of the post was from a Barnes & Noble in Denver, Colorado. Was definitely a bucket list checkoff to coauthor a book which was published by a major publisher (McGraw-Hill) and sold in major bookstores.
The other photo was from our visit to Klout headquarters to visit with the company leadership. Cofounder/CEO Joe Fernandez really created something special.
