Social media has many good impacts for learners in supporting education. But nowadays, many young people are addicted to it.
Nowadays, every young people are already master to social media, not only in updating status or posting photos. Some of them use social media to sell products. They create an online shop but it is a fake account which will be deleted if there are buyers doing payment, so the buyer do not get the product while the seller get the money. So social media do not always give good impact, because sometimes people get easier to do other bad things related to dishonesty.
Beside that, There are several reasons why social media has contributed to educational purpose. First, Social Media can support learning process. for example, using online class while lecturer absent is a great way to keep the class active because everybody can create an online class group for studying. And also, people who are usually busy used to take payed online class for certain subjects so they can set their time wisely. In addition, using email for collecting assignments to lecturer, giving announcements are very flexible.
In conclusion, misappropriation of social media has negative influences on young people to do crime, but beside that, social media also has many good impacts to help learner an lecturer in time management and educational purposes.
