New To Steemit

I have been excited about the concept of Steemit and the idea that the more rewards-based upvoting system deters trolling but this is my first time actually using the platform. I have other social media accounts (IG: @nick_vanarsdale Facebook.com/nickvanarsdale, Twitter: @compoundnumbers) but each platform has tended to be a little more about one aspect of my life. Gary Vee explains this brilliantly in "Crushing It!". Each social media platform seems to lend itself to a certain user mood. Facebook is more for close friends and family, Twitter is for quotes and banter and link sharing, Instagram is for photography and a certain aesthetic. I am going to use Steemit as a combination of all the platforms and see what happens. Music, travel, photography, cryptocurrency- I'm going to combine it all and see if it really is a more rewarding, positive experience. Looking forward to sharing and making new connections.
