Like you, I’m on the fence with this one, though I’m leaning towards the SF side, if it is indeed a temporary measure.

My big question is who should our new found executive be in discussions with among the witnesses and in what forum to resolve the issue? Do we (Steem) even know what would be acceptable? (I know I don’t know!)

I do believe that there is a lot of potential gains for both networks if everyone works intentionally to that end.
