Once daily, around the time you signed up, you get a bonus for your contributions. You get a daily bonus (AP - action points), a cards bonus (for reading other people's posts), a cards endorsed bonus (for commenting and sharing people's cards), and you get referral points for every person you sign up.
So if you were on Sola and had someone sign up under your name, for all of their activity, you get 5% SOL reward of what they do.
