Weekly News Update

Hey there, everybody! It’s time for a much belated Solairitas Weekly News Update!

This week was a bit slower for the project. We sold five more SOL to an existing member beefing up their stake, and have powered up the proceeds.

We have given one SOL to another new Steemian who is very active in the City of Neoxian and showed us generosity. Welcome @anikys3reasure!

Voting power continues to remain very stable and is sustainable at its current membership.

We are, however, extremely concerned that the downvote vigilantes are now turning their attention toward stake-based voting systems. This does not, at this point, signal the death of the project, but there may be a certain level of existential crisis ahead.

Perhaps we may need to move to a new distribution model for rewards...perhaps delegation? perhaps direct power up? These are at least things to consider going forward.
