Blue Potato Vine beats the Blues.

in solanum •  7 years ago

While it does not have the most flattering name, the Blue Potato Vine ( Solanum ) is a showy ornamental climber or screen plant, which can be trained to a shrub type habit or just left to scramble over a trellis or pergola. Native to Brazil, this fast growing plant is happiest in a sunny position. it is suitable for the temperate or warm climate garden and flowers in Spring and early Summer. This plant is growing in a Sydney garden.NEW1 172.JPG

By the way, it seems you have been posting almost everyday, but your posts didn't appear on my feed. I had to search through the list to find these flowers. They are quite a change of atmosphere from other complicated posts.

Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
Cheers.
