It sure seems like Elon Musk has his hands on a lot of different projects. The Tesla stock price has taken an absolute beating lately although Musk says his company of finally ready to turn a profit. Who knows if it’s actually gonna come true because his cars have had a rough start in the market place with spontaneous combustion of the batteries. The product that he also makes for those of you who don’t know, is solar roofing materials. How has this logical product not become more Main stream and optional on new builds of homes?
I mean the sun is almost always shining right? It’s a shame in this technological day and age that these types of building materials are not being used A LOT more than they are. I understand they are very expensive but for gosh sakes build a smaller house and make it not only eco friendly but, also so energy efficient you could sell power back to the grid!
So many different roofing styles are already available so finding one that works well with your house is easy. Take a look at the website link below and be amazed at how nice this stuff is.
The world needs this product badly with rising energy costs. Hopefully Trump can create some really aggressive incentives for homeowners to take the leap of faith into this serious investment in your house.
I have been in the roofing business for almost 30 years now and to this day there are still almost no questions of solar roofing systems. The ugly panels on roofs are everywhere here in Colorado because the sun shines about 300 days a year here. It seems if your gonna spend the money to go solar, save up for a couple more years and turn your house into an energy producing beast!

I looked into getting solar panels for my house some years ago but the cost was prohibitive relative to the benefits, even with tax incentives. I hope the economics have improved. I'd be interested in getting solar panels when the time is right.

I agree and I've heard it's comparable in price to a regular job? I've also heard that these solar shingles are tough as hell and virtually unbreakable? IDK if any of this is true but we're interested and will look into it further. I think anyone such as Trump that goes up against the big companies of the status quo is going to have issues as they are leeches and love suckin' the life out of the normal folk. I spose' one day we should do away with the parasites and all will be GOOD!

I just had installed 14 solar panels on our roof. There is no more real incencitive from the government, but the advantages are just to big for not putting them on. Its a small investment whith a ROI in 5 years,so its great... 4 weeks now and already made 540kwh 😀 I'm a happy man !!

Apparently, not only is it an excellent investment, but it also contributes to the care of the environment, and is the most important thing. It would be very beneficial if many people became aware and used this type of roofing. The problem would be in the price maybe it would be easier if the cost was not so high. Everything will look with the passage of time. But there is no doubt that it is worthwhile to make the effort to improve the conditions of the environment and also the living conditions of the people. :)
