Energy is Free it Rains Down from the Sky

Energy is free and abundant.

I am in support of Nuclear Energy that is 93 MILLION MILES AWAY.... where it belongs.
Imagine nuclear energy production & transportation with ZERO radioactive waste ever being on Earth.
It arrives 24/7 and it only takes 8 MINUTES to get here.
Free Nuclear Energy Delivered at the Speed of Light....

Do you get it?
Every living creature on this Earth is powered by the Sun.
Its our turn to do the same.

Freaking sweet. I'll probably make one of those myself. Please consider writing a blog of how to construct it. It seems pretty straightforward. Just need to figure out the parts to get.

You definitely should! I did a Steem it post on the four basic components a while back. Here is the link https://steemit.com/solar/@crystalgeometry/4-basic-components-of-solar-energy-generators

I intend to do a more in depth blog or video about each component. I've added details on solar panels and batteries along with product links on my website. The link is in this post. :)

Brilliant stuff, thank you.

Thanks for the compliment. I'm glad you enjoyed it. It's amazing to be able to bring this information to people in a decentralized way.

It's all good brother.

I have made something similar, but only for the low voltage DC use. Its dead simple: a solar panel pack that delivers 20W at 5V, and a 20Ah power bank as a buffer. And as a reserve for the times the sun is not shining - which unfortunatly is quiete often here in Germany. I use it to charge all kinds of gadget that have the 5V USB input, like cell phone, keyboard, head lamp ect. Hardly ever need to use a power supply anymore.

That sounds like a nice little setup. It's amazing how simple it can be especially if you are just using DC.

Yeah, its not rocket science. But its not really cost effective I guess. I payed about 70 bucks for it - for that I could use a lot of mains power...
Anyways... there is a fun factor in it, too. :)

yes through a new process called photosynthesis you can now TASTE the sun!

LOL you could make a whole series of these showing how Sunlight is converted through clorophyl , to glucose then sucros and then skittles lol or how sunlight is convereted to sugars win plants that animals eat that we then eat

You gotta support that common-sense energy!

@shayne

Absolutely. It's so simple its mind boggling. Tesla just announced their solar roofs will be cheaper than normal roofs and while have an infinity warranty. The change is happening.

Nice boxed setup. How many amphour capacity is it?

Thanks. I learned a lot setting it up. It's two 18 amphour batteries for a total of 36 amphour. I can easily fit another one of those batteries in there, but I am waiting until I don't have to carry it anymore. Lead-acid batteries are heavy lol.

I am using 6 18AH SLAs in mine, and I have a 165 watt array. I am using it to charge my E-bike. Need to do more writeups on all of that...

That's awesome. I can't wait until I have my own property so I can rig up 4 100AH batteries and build a nice sized array :)
I followed you and am looking forward to those write ups!

Mine is living in a milk crate, with the panels on my van. You don't have to own... Get creative!

My panel is mounted on the roof of my van as well! I just have to carry the batteries up a flight of stairs to use them in my house. I've thought about building a second battery pack that way one is always charging while I'm using the other.

Dude yes man! What state do you live in though? I'm in Washington state and cant even grow some vegetables because of the lack of sunlight.

I'm in southern Oregon. Well hopefully someone will setup a decentralized power grid, so we can send some power up to you all in the North :)
