Ci risiamo, ecco un altro capitolo di questa interessante rubrica a cui ho dato inizio, siamo già arrivati al 4° episodio, il tempo corre in fretta e quindi non perdiamone altro.

Oggi ho deciso di parlarvi di tastiere MIDI, nel particolare voglio trovare la miglior tastiera MIDI completa e funzionale al minor prezzo.
Il mio primo pensiero è andato subito verso le AKAI, un marchio noto per produrre fantastiche tastiere portatili che riescono comunque a non mancare di moltissime funzionalità che magari non si trovano in prodotti a più ottave e più professionali.

Today I decided to talk to you about MIDI keyboards, in particular I want to find the best complete and functional MIDI keyboard at the lowest price.

Come potete vedere dispone di solo 2 ottave, ma ha un compartimento d'eccellenza per quanto riguarda il fronte anteriore.
8 pad e 8 knob per poter in quattro e quattr'otto creare una base, aggiungere effetti, e modificare on-the-go i parametri di tutti gli strumenti che vogliamo utilizzare. Ovviamente non mancano i tipici tasti per selezionare, scorrere, mettere in play o pausa e anche un pulsante a 4 vie per il pitch.
Integra un arpeggiatore di base ed è compatibile su qualsiasi pc, tutto via usb chiaramente.

Una seconda marca molto conosciuta quando si parla di prodotti di "seconda scelta" è la M-Audio, tantissime persone che conosco hanno iniziato con prodotti M-Audio, che siano tastiere casse o altro.
Tra gli svariati prodotti di questa compagnia mi è sembrata una valida opponente questa:

A livello di quantità come vedete sembrerebbe aver trovato una sfida alla pari, in realtà la punta di diamante di questo prodotto sta proprio nei tasti dove hanno voluto integrare in uno strumento cosi piccolo e portatile dei tasti degni di un pianista professionale (o almeno quasi).
Un'altra piccola differenza sta nella pitchwheel e nella modwheel che qui si presentano separatamente, inoltre è presente un display più o meno utile in base alle esigenze.

Serve un'altro valido avversario, quindi bisogna andare su marchi all'avanguardia, per questo penso che Arturia mi possa sicuramente essere d'aiuto, una delle case produttrici di strumenti musicali vari più ricercata, soprattutto quando si parla di hardware.

Un design davvero impeccabile ed un software molto avanzato, rendono questa tastiera una delle più acquistate, non ho passato uno studio, che sia professionale o meno, che non abbia una di queste in casa, un po' troppo merito forse del marchio, ma sicuramente un acquisto sensato.
Dispone di più knob per i parametri rispetto alle avversarie precedenti, mod e pitch wheels sono touch e i conseuti 8 pad ritmici sono allineati orizzonatlmente.

A truly impeccable design and a very advanced software, make this keyboard one of the most purchased, I have not passed a study, whether professional or not, that does not have one of these in the house, a little too much perhaps of the brand, but certainly a sensible purchase.
It has more knobs for the parameters than the previous opponents, mod and pitch wheels are touch and the 8 rhythmic pads are aligned horizontally.

Bene, arrivati a questo punto starete solo aspettando di leggere il vincitore di questa piccola battaglia, la verità è che secondo me.... non c'è un vincitore.
Una delle cose a cui si tende più a pensare in ambito di musica e produzione musicale, è di avere il giusto strumento, quello più bello, più costoso, che mi farà fare la musica bella; la realtà è che non esiste nessuno strumento al mondo che vi faccia diventare artisti, siete voi stessi lo strumento che dovete usare, perche i veri artisti producono anche sul portatilino mentre viaggiano da un tour all'altro... It's the EAR not the GEAR
