I think 2nd half of March into early April is a fairly common time frame for students to start making final decisions as a number of schools start releasing final financial aid packages and RDs come out.
Once students have a good idea of all admission decisions and net cost numbers, many begin accepting their one chosen admission offer, and declining the 5, 10, 15, 20 other offers and opening up spots.
It’s going to be especially wild this year because a lot of students applied to a lot of schools, but in the end everyone can only attend one school.
