Orbital ATK Co. launched a 139 ft tall (42.5 meter) Antares rocket this morning at 7:19 am. (Nov. 12, 1219GMT), from Wallops Island, Virginia, providing a Sunday morning spectacle for early birds along the East Coast. the Antares was carrying the Cygnus Cargo craft, for the International Space Station.
About 9 minutes later, Cygnus was in low-Earth orbit, where it will spend the next two days chasing after the International Space Station (ISS).
