A moon outside our solar system?

Its easy to consider that there would be such thing, well at least since the Copernican revolution and Galileo Galilei.

But now we seem to have our first evidence courtesy of the Hubble telescope.

It's been able to detect dips in light emissions of a certain star that undoubtedly indicate an exoplanet (planet outside our solar system)but potentially an exomoon(moon outside our solar system) as well.

For all the space buffs out there there is more information here and in the links contained therein.

that is bad ass. Hubble has to be one of the greatest inventions of our time. That telescope has given us so much.

They keep talking about the exoplanet: Proxima B and the idea of eventually going there for exploration and possible human colonization. It is so many light years away though that we could never get there in a reasonable time given the limits of our current technologies.

6 had a different significance to the Summerian culture. The problem with flat Earth is that nobody has yet manifested proof of it.
