Beer In Space: Bud Aims To Make It TruesteemCreated with Sketch.

"Space: The final frontier".

Not only is it the final frontier but it is a tremendous opportunity. This is something that businesses are looking at closely.

Over the next few decades, if things unfold as many are planning, we are going to have a lot of what is on Earth taking place in space. This will include the first space inhabitants, perhaps on the planet Mars.

The question is, who will be the first beer on Mars?

If Budweiser has any say, it will be the King of Beers on two planets.

Since 2017, the beer maker sent seeds up to the International Space Station to get some idea of how beer can be brewed in space. As one an image, the idea of brewing in microgravity probably takes on a different meaning.

Beer in space is about to take the next step as equipment is being sent to the space station which will allow for the malting process to be analyzed. This is vital to the brewing of beer and part of a couple hundred experiments that is going to take place.

It only makes sense to pursue this path. If humanity is to live outside of Earth, beer is required. While others are focusing upon construction or food production, Ambev, the parent for Budweiser, is trying to make sure the world, wherever that is, has plenty of libation.

Of course, this opens up the possibility for advertising. Is it too early for Budweiser to be recognized as the "official beer of the International Space Station"? If it works for the Olympics, why not for space colonies?

We could go one better and have the SpaceX rockets with logos as they are launched into space. Wouldn't it be amazing to see the rockets with a design similar to NASCAR. Imagine the 25th flight of SpaceX's "Rainbow Rocket" (maybe Jeff Gordon will go through astronaut training).

It might be important to get some space billboards going. If there is going to be a lot of traffic on these orbital paths, it would be helpful to have some advertising to let people know what is around. You never know when a sign advertising a fine Mexican restaurant will strike one's fancy. At times, it is worth it to travel to the next docking station since the food quality could be remarkably different.

Of course, we might see it all 3D printed but that could quickly become the case on Earth too. Either way, AmBev aims to make sure you enjoy your food, regardless of how it was prepared, with a nice cold Budweiser.

It is always good to know humanity has its priorities straight.
