Si la vida se ha ocupado de poner cada cosa en su lugar
cómo no vamos a poder nosotros recomenzar
demostrar cuánto hemos aprendido
y lo conveniente que fue esperar
para ser lo que no fuimos
vivir lo que no vivimos.
Pero si de nuestro amor no quedó nada
al menos guarda los recuerdos,
esos no se borran tan fácil
aprendí a vivir con ellos.
Si en una esquina
cual encuentro casual
nuestras almas se vuelven a encontrar
habrá sido el destino quien se empeña en juntar
aquello que aún con el pasar los años no deja de palpitar.
Olvidar lo vivido sería el remedio para sanar
pero por más parches que le pongo
a mi alma el hoyo sigue allí
recordándome la falta que
me haces para vivir.
