Keeping God's commandments is not something that is far away or that we believe is impossible for man.
We say that we fear God, that we are reverent and we do not love God above all things. In the word of God we have contained the commandments of God, what He wants for us, generally throughout our lives we are striving to faithfully fulfill the commandments of God.
We all want to be better people, to seek God more, etc. But many times we forget one of them: You shall sanctify the Sabbath day, this makes a lot of sense when we discover that God completed the creation in 6 days and on the seventh day He rested. That is also what He asks of us with this commandment, that on that day we rest and have communion with Him. This is also part of the fear of God.
