Patty:
Ingredients- Ground beef (500g), flour, salt & pepper, carrot (1/2), onion(1/2), minced garlic (2 tbs), egg-yolk
- Mince onion and carrot as fine as you can.
- Mix ground beef with minced veggies and add 1 tsp of flour, one egg yolk, minced garlic, and of course salt & pepper.
- Pounding time!! Pound as if you are really angry.. make a ball with mixed ingredients and throw it into a bowl and keep repeating this for a bit. But be careful, you don't want your patty to be too juicy from pounding it too much.
- Shape it to a burger patty. The mixed ingredients should give you at least 4-5 patties.
- Cook patties on boiled frying pan with olive oil.
- You want your patties to be cooked rare, since they go back into cooking after sauce is made.
Sauce:
Ingredients- Flour, soy sauce, ketchup, water, butter(1/4), sugar, mushroom, or chopped onion.
Fry sliced mushroom or chopped onion (your preference) with butter. You can use the same frying pan from cooking patties, so that grease from meat can be added to sauce.
Add one or two pinches of flour to no.1 ( I believe this process is called 'rue')
Add water/soy sauce/ ketchup in proportion of 1/1/3- Amount is depending on how much sauce you want, but keep the proportion. Leave it to boil in medium heat.
Add sugar, probably full 3 tbs. If you want more sweetness to it, add more. It's up to you.
Make sure it does not stick to the bottom of frying pan. You want to stir it constantly in low heat.
Add rare-cooked patties into the sauce in low heat and make sure the patties are completely soaked in sauce.
Then, Bon Appétit!!
