The spiritual war: So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. Romans 13:12

The Kingdom of God and its spiritual war begin with a change, the conversion of the heart towards God, towards his wisdom. Conversion is a spiritual Passover, the passage from darkness to the light of wisdom, from sin to a life of righteousness, the apostle Paul explains it in his letter to the Romans: "And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of the darkness and put on the armor of light. Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not on carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy.", Romans 13:11-13.

Leaving the works of the flesh (Galatians 5:19) to put on the armor of light, the armor of wisdom, the apostle explains, there is in Paul's work a metaphorical comparison of the believer in the kingdom with that of the soldier:
"Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God." Ephesians 6:13-17.
The world constantly tempts us to act selfishly, only for ourselves, and ultimately to fall into the path of error, how many times someone tells us: "money is not made by working" (heresy); but spiritual warfare means understanding that the word of God is like a seed, it does not have immediate effects but is progressive, it needs our constancy, our firmness (fear of God) to give in the long term the fruits of blessing, the fruits of the spirit: "But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law", Galatians 5:19-22-23.
