The Law of Attraction: Dealing With Pain Vs Spiritual Bypassing

in spirituality •  7 years ago

Life is always working with us, and it will shine a light on any conflicting beliefs we have about getting what we want. This can bring about pain. This is a planet of contrast, and painful experiences are inevitable. We're guaranteed to lose our loved ones. We're guaranteed to get sick. This isn't a planet of feel good all the time. This is a planet for maximum expansion. That's why "bad things" happen to us. (There's No Such Things As Bad Things Happening to You) It's true that feeling good and appreciative will bring you the things you want in life. But what a lot of people are missing is that you also have to feel your pain, and if you resist it, you're making matters worse. You can't plaster a smile over pain. You can align yourself out of a lot of pain, but not all of it. Some of your pain is your mind going round and round and round and round in the same circles it has always gone in. You can break the cycle by steering yourself toward alignment with your inner being.

But the pain that debilitates you, that's deep, that keeps you from having what you want in life - there's only one way to go, and that's in it. Law of Attraction will make sure that you do, actually. Some things are so deep that we need to live them because we can't just bypass them.

What you probably don't hear in your law of attraction teachings is that when "bad things" happen to you, they're helping you. There's nothing intrinsically wrong with pain, and it's an art form to move through it with precision and skill. When we move into it, it takes us on a ride of its own. Some things just must be worked out within the psyche. What the law of attraction teachers are essentially teaching with being in alignment is to be beyond the psyche. But we're here to live our story, and that story is going to compel us and pull us under sometimes. Scarcity mentality can be so strong that it pulls you into illness. Your way out of scarcity mentality is through utter misery in illness, although you may not know that until you've been out of that illness for years.

90% of our pain is resistance to it. We're so scared of pain. And honestly, Law of Attraction teachings can't really help but teach you to resist pain. You'd be surprised to find that there's actually great relief in giving ourselves over to pain. The fight is over. With that actually comes alignment with our higher selves, and that pain is usually transformed within minutes. Suddenly the pain seems tolerable. We see clearly. In the deep experience of it and the allowing of what it is, it loses its power.

I couldn't agree more. Sometimes we Re scared of everything including the unknown the tendency to fear pain is even a worst kind of pain.

This is an eye opener and it applies to me too. Thanks so much

We're so scared of pain

This is totally right. In my case, I fear pain even more than I fear death.

wow @brightstar I didn't know this, it is really to encounter a person with this knowledge ^^, I have been intrigued about law of attraction after I saw a documentary about it ( the secret ), a really fascinating subject, and I must say I believe it does work, now properly controlling to only attract positive things might be challenging.

Yes, I have a ton of experience in this department.

Glad this was useful to you. I think I decided today that the direction my life may take is to be a guide for people to work through pain while consciously using the law of attraction.
