No this isn't a post about trans...
It's a post about Reality Transurfing, a book by Vadim Zeland. I stumbled across this book by chance, first I noticed it in a youtube thumbnail, I didn't watch the video. Then Amazon recommended it to me, so I thought "better check this out" since the universe sent it my way. The book had great reviews, only some gripes about typos, so I checked out the sample. The sample was substantial compared to most book samples, and it was enough to convince me to pick up the book on kindle
Since then I've been reading it on my phone and The Book of Mastery at home, while tossing in some Gene Keys here and there. That's part of the reason I haven't been posting as frequently. I think the loss of some momentum on steemit has been well worth what I've gained reading the books, and hopefully I can give you an understanding of what the books are all about in some posts like this one.
So, what is this oddly titled book all about?
Pendulums
One of the first things mentioned in the book are pendulums. These are basically entities of any kind, corporations, countries, movements, ideas, that are trying to gain your attention in some way. Here's a short reference. These pendulums are basically looking to gain energy from us, it doesn't matter if we are with or against them, the more attention we supply them with in the form of thoughts and actions, the stronger they become.
What you resist not only persists, but grows in size.
-Carl Jung
The only action we can take is ignorance and nonchalance. A lack of caring about them and interacting with them can release us from being a part of the pendulum. There are pendulums that can be beneficial and some that can be destructive. The book spends a long chapter on this, and it clears things up quite a bit. I thought pendulum was an odd word, but it makes sense the way he uses it.
The Importance of Importance
The other thing the book really dives into is how we place importance on things and and why. Basically, when we value something to a high degree it brings us out of balance, and life comes along with whatever it can to bring back the balance. This emphasis or removal of importance of things or events creates an excess potential, and life doesn't allow potential to exist, it likes balance, everything moves towards balance.
It's a simple yet complicated system that is basically preaching non-attachment. You can have goals and aspirations, but the best way to handle life is to not have expectations. To just work towards what you want and not expect glory and riches, and when and if they do come, savor and appreciate them. Give the wins as much credit as the losses that hurt us.
Psychology
The other topic in the book that I really found useful were those on the human psyche, namely Guilt and Dependance. I feel like we often can harbor feelings of guilt for a long period of time, and keeping these feelings with us will just pull more punishment to us. As the guilty party we expect punishment. I'm not saying whether doing something wrong, making a mistake, means you deserve punishment or not. Most likely some kind of punishment will occur, but the problem is remaining in the feeling of guilt, which makes us perceptible to more and more punishment.
The other, dependance, is something easy to fall into. We get to a point with some people and things that we start expecting. Once we start expecting, or feeling like the other party is supposed to do something for us or be a certain way for us. We want to possess the thing or person, they are ours and they need to behave a certain way. This only leads to bad things, "excess potential" as Zeland puts it, which must be balanced out by natures forces.
Alternatives Space
This is basically the infinite potential. The field of energy or wisdom "where" every possibility is. Once we align or attune to the frequency we wish to live, that alternate reality becomes manifest. That's the gist I've gotten so far at least, he hasn't really detailed it yet. It seems like the "pregnant void" of spiritual teaching, and the idea of how we would surf through is very similar to Neville Goddard's work I've mentioned previously.
So far I'm really impressed with the book. The psychology aspect of it has been the highlight so far, as it explains why certain groups and people and events never seem to go away, why we sometimes act the way we do, the traps we can let ourselves fall into, and more. The book does a great job of clearing up things in our own life, if we are willing to take a hard look while reading through.
I will admit the wording is quite strange and the topics and language will cause some people to write it off, but I think there is a lot here. I'm only 4 chapters in and have already gotten so much out of it. I'm expecting the upcomng chapters to be similar to Neville Goddard's work, ie. using imagination and feeling to "surf" through or to whatever life and world you want, but possibly more fleshed out.
I'll be writing at least one more article on Reality Transurfing to let you know any other gems I find. Hopefully this gave you an idea of the book, the language is odd and the topics are much, much more fleshed out in the book. I've found the writing to be quite clear with the exception of numerous typos which can most likely be chalked up as translation issues.
The stuff is far out, the idea that we create, literally create, our own reality based on attitudes and reactions and mindset and feeling is pretty out there, but I expect this type of exploration into consciousness to start becoming more of the norm. We are already seeing a spiritual rennaissance and a newfound interest in psychadelics and plant medicines, this seems like the next step to me. Figuring out the effect of our consciousness and perception on the world, and discovering through introspection and internal work how we've been shooting ourselves in the foot and how we can right the ship.
Thanks for reading,
You mention that you’re expecting future chapters to be like another book, isn’t that the very opposite of what this book tells you? Not to ha e expectations? 😀 just wondering, way to deep for my simple mind

More of a guess than an expectation, I think it's more about not putting importance on your expectations. If it turns out he writes something completely different I'll be surprised, but not upset in any way
