From my perspective, after dealing with a lot of things, the best way to get freedom is by reading and studying the bible! But reading with an open heart and mind and considering it as the true word of god. I kinda understand your situation, even if i haven't got much money though. I've learned that money will never make me happy as it doesn't anyone. With god on our side anything is possible and he shows everyone his own special way/path. God bless us all brother, he wants to save us all but many people don't want to give him his heart and rather follow some strange theories.
