Kabbalah has become something more than a fad among jet-set and Hollywood celebrities.
Kabbalists are currently in dialogue with neuroscience, astrophysics, string theory and quantum physics.
How is that possible?
Because many of the theories that currently explain the origin of the universe, the non-spatiality of consciousness or the interconnectedness of all beings through the collective unconscious theory of C.G. Jung, can be traced in the texts of the great Kabbalists of Sepharad and Safed , many of which, unfortunately, have not been published or translated from Hebrew or Aramaic and remain in specialized libraries or in private collections.
In today's post I want to offer you a sample of it: the comparison of the Big Bang Theory with the poem by Isaac Luria, the ARI (Jerusalem1534 - Safed, 1572), "The Tree of Life".
The Big Bang was a singularity (t = 0), not an instant, because there was no time or space (which are dimensions), nor matter or energy as we know it today in the visible universe.
We really don't know what existed before, but we have discovered what happened from that singularity, whose traces can be found in the microwave background of the universe.
What the astrophysicists describe us is a moment when a very concentrated point of energy was restricted, stopped being pure and simple energy and became an infinitesimal ball that exploded, became matter and began to expand in an accelerated way, to a speed higher than the actual possessed by light.
The Big Bang happened about 15,000 billion years ago. We are talking about our years, terrestrial or of this universe, as you prefer to call them. But there could be another type of years, previous to the Big Bang, previous to the creation and that we don't know, as the Kabbalists have said for centuries.
Today we know that, starting in the Big Bang, matter, light and time were created, as well as all the different types of energy we have been discovering throughout the evolution of science.
At the instant of the Big Bang, the temperature of the universe reached incredible levels: 28 power of 10 degrees at the initial moment, and micro moments later, when the point began to expand, a cooling process was initiated, so that within a few minutes after the explosion, the temperature was 10 power of 10 degrees.
The laws of the universe we know work under certain parameters, and one of them is temperature. From a temperature of 32 power of 10 degrees, any theory, any formula or equation about THIS universe does not make sense.
What scientists do agree on is that near the initial moment of the Big Bang the volume of the universe was minimal (just a point of infinitesimal dimension), and its density tended to infinity, much more than we could presume actually exist in a black hole, for example.
From these conditions, matter, time, space and energy began to expand and cool (began to exist), so it is from here that we can talk about the beginning of the current universe, the creation, the Bereshit or any of the many names what is given to that singularity.
Now, after reading this brief summary, lets see what says the poem "The Tree of Life" by Isaac Luria:
The Tree of Life – a Poem
Behold that before the emanations were emanated and the creatures were created,
The Upper Simple Light had filled the whole existence.
And there was no vacancy, such as an empty air, a hollow,
But all was filled with that Simple, Boundless Light.
And there was no such part as head, or end,
But everything was One, Simple Light, balanced evenly and equally,
And it was called “the Light of Ein Sof (Infinity).”
And when upon His simple will, came the desire to create the worlds and emanate the emanations,
To bring to light the perfection of His deeds, His names, His appellations,
Which was the cause of the creation of the worlds,
Then the Ein Sof restricted Himself, in His middle point, precisely at the center,
And He restricted that Light, and drew far off to the sides around that middle point.
And there remained an empty space, an empty air, a vacuum
Precisely from the middle point.
And that restriction was equally around that empty, middle point,
So that the space was evenly circled around it.
And after the restriction, when the vacant space remained empty
Precisely in the middle of the Light of Ein Sof,
A place was formed, where the Emanations, Creations, Formations, and Actions might reside.
Then from the Light of Ein Sof, a single line hung down from Above, lowered into that space.
And through that line, He emanated, created, formed, and made all the worlds.
Prior to these four worlds, there was one Light of Ein Sof, whose Name is One, in wondrous, hidden unity,
And even in the angels closest to Him
There is no force and no attainment in The Ein Sof,
As there is no mind of a created that could attain Him,
For He has no place, no boundary, no name.

To many, it may seem forced the comparison, but in meetings between Kabbalists and scientists of which I have heard, astrophysicists do not consider it at all far fetched.
They accept that the ARI speaks with the language of his time, in which there was no mathematics or the tools of observation that we have today, since Humanity still lived a kind of childhood on His long road to the technological explosion that today seems normal to us.
What scientists are asking when dialogue with Kabbalists is another kind of thing: How could a Safed cabalist, in the 16th century, have such a correct vision, and describe a phenomenon that would not enter the canon of science untill the 20th century?
It's a good question for another post.
It is the kind of vision that someone (in this case an exalted soul like Isaac Luria) can access when he studies Kabbalah and is given permission to him by the Creator.

Thanks javer for resteeming it!
They are saying the same thing, but paradoxically, in differents time-sequences of time, it is to say, in the 16th century and in the 20th and 21th Century... But perhaps at the same time, if time is simultaneously working in the other dimensions of space, matter and energy, as Jean Paul Garnier points out...
Hummm... We should write a series about this for TV! ha ha ha...
See U soon here!

Thanks, dear cameron99. That's a big honor for me because... You are a mathematician!
Very interesting your posts about maths, econmy and digital business.
And yes, I'll go on this evening, but AFTER THE UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE GAME Real Madrid vs. Paris Saint German with some friends, beer and pizza, ha ha ha.
I'm following you.
