The Evening and The Morning; ANALOGY OF THE BIBLE CREATION RECORDS

From our own calculation of time and days, a new day should begin in the morning. But the first day of God's creation, indeed the first day of the world, started from the "evening" and then there was "morning".

Then God said, "Let there be light!" And light began to shine. He saw the light, and he knew that it was good. Then he separated the light from the darkness. God named the light "day,” and he named the darkness “night". There was EVENING, and then there was MORNING. This was the first day.
Genesis 1:3-5 (ERV)

The darkness of the evening was before the light of the morning, that it might serve as a foil to it, setting it off, and making its brightness much more prominent.

The new world marked by Christ's resurrection as the light of the world likewisely began after the era of the law - an evening, if not night. At the death of Christ there was darkness all over the land which later gave way to the light of his ressurection. Mathew 27:45

Every man, before he launches into his glorious life will experience the "night" season. A new day (era, level, pedestal) of your life will never surface without this full cycle of evening (or night) and morning. The night duration comes at different lengths and with different experiences. If you are in this night era, know this: God is faithful, He will not suffer you to be tempted above that you are able. 1 Corinthians 10:13

The night era has the following "economic importance" on any individual:

  1. It is the time to learn wisdom.
I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons. Psalm 16:7

  2. It is a time for fellowship with God.
[Yet] the LORD will command his lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night his song [shall be] with me, [and] my prayer unto the God of my life.
    Psalm 42:8
Mine eyes prevent the [night] watches, that I might meditate in thy word.
    Psalm 119:148

  3. This is very important. The night makes your day light much more prominent. The essence of light is appreciated in darkness. If there was never darkness, there wouldn't be need for light. No one would appreciate and acknowledge the great "you" if there was never a poor "you". YOU SHALL SHINE!

Please whatever the case may be, DO NOT CURSE your night season. The hardest palm kernels, they say, produce the sweetest nuts. Let that be one of your sources of encouragement. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy [cometh] in the morning.
The message puts it thus: The nights of crying your eyes out give way to days of laughter.
Psa 30:5

Until we get to heaven, where there is no night, remain blessed!
