In 2016, the world's happiness survey report was released, and topping the list was Denmark. It is not that stunning that our dear Nigeria is not among the top 50 happy nations of the world. At some point, some analysts argued that, the development of a nation should be measured by how happy that nation is an not necessarily by the GDP. If that is the case, your guess is as good as mine when our dear nation Nigeria comes to mind.
Nigeria has been battling with so many issues now that if she were to be a being, she might be suffering from some cardiovascular issues due to the plunging thoughts of prevailing circumstances. After the discovery of black gold in the early 70s in Oloibiri, Bayelsa State, she has built her finance echelon on it, such that the real sector of the economy that used to contribute over 30% of her GDP became irrelevant in no time.
If Agriculture remains stagnant, industries cannot grow. Those were the words of Arthur Lewis, Nobel Prize winner in Economics, 1979. Agriculture suffered a major setback in Nigeria with the advent of this setback cannot be overemphazised. The colour green is a very prominent in most analysis in the world today. It is usually used in indicating results with positive possibilities.
The Nation's flag is adorned with positive indicators at both sides with "peace" settling in the middle. Nigeria's strength still lies in Agriculture and her future is bright if the youth would opt for the "Green" collar jobs over the white ones. The land is green and the future
is green. The whole world is definitely tilting green, so go GREEN.
