My first Action sport film
This is my first Snow Board film/Action sport film. I am looking to find a community here on Steemit interested in Action sports such as Snowboarding, skiing, paragliding, skydiving, and free-diving. I am an avid extreme sport enthusiast and have experience as a skydiver, snowboarder, skier and other various nontraditional physical activities. Please follow and message, if like me, you are interested in finding a similar community here on Steemit so we can curate and create content!
This project was filmed all over northern Utah Ski resorts and back-country. It was an amazing few months of pushing my limits as a filmmaker and snowboarder. Endless days of slogging through the forest or hiking peaks. It was a pleasure to spend hours with my friend featured in the film, planning shots and drops!

THIS is a great idea and a very powerful one to boot! I just sent a link to my nephew who makes snowboarding and ski videos with his friends. As an upcoming star of freestyle skiing, just north of Montreal, he as a lot to share and can't wait to see him on Steemit. Though the last times I had talked to him about it he had told me he would check it out, maybe your article will convince him and, in the slide, the rest of the family to jump in so to speak!?!

Love the edit! We do some action sports edits also, but from the whitewater rafting world. Our team's advice would be to slomo some of the crux moves in your edits. When you are gapping something or when you are jibbing off a tree for example. Slowing down the action would draw the viewer deeper into the edit by holding their attention on the crux move longer. Another recommendation would be to shoot lower beneath the action and at a steeper vertical angle to give the viewer more perspective since the camera has a tendency to flatten everything out. Over the camera action with the videographer following the subject are cool too if you have someone willing to sit near the base of the jump. It is a bit of a tricky and dangerous shot, but it really pays off if there is someone willing to post up there for your shot. Just some thoughts from our team on the Edit, but we really enjoyed it.
