Does anyone know Speedball?

Hello!

Whenever I am meeting new people and they ask me about sport, I say that I am the Speedball player. Next question is, what is speedball? I wolud like to tell you a couple of words about it, taking by example my team and myself.

First of all; speedball comes from paintball. This is a tournament variant of a paintball game. It was created in this way to give a better format for competitive paintball, both in playing and viewing the games.
It takes place in an arena with air bunkers which are placed symetrically. There are 3 or 5 people in a team (on each side). The objective is to "capture the flag" which is placed where the opposite team start the game.
In modern speedball the flag is changed into a buzzer which can electrically stop the game timer. Each time a player presses the buzzer, his team gets a point.

Speedball is played worldwide. There are a lot of leagues across the globe, but it still is not an olympic game. Every country has its at least one league where teams compete to get the National Championship, and many international leagues.
