Eubank Jr. vs. Yildrim | When the Loud Become Silenced

Ahmet Oner, the manager of Chris Eubank Jr.'s most recent opponent (and whipping post) Avni Yildrim said this to an off screen entity at the most recent fight presser. This outrageous statement was followed by pure intolerance towards everyone in the room, and Oner simply kept inciting and displaying his ignorance.

Due justice came in the form of a brutal stoppage before three rounds, and nine minutes of fight time. This was not only a message to the rest of the middleweight division, but it was a display of chivalry and defense of boxing as a gentleman's art. Yildim's manager should not necessarily represent Yildrim, but any association to a man with such utter disregard for humanity makes me a bit shaky.

Maybe all this debacle was in order to distract the main public from seeing the skill disparity, and the lack of experience in his 16-0 (now 16-1) fighter. Either way it was almost a good riddance, and sweet vengeance all in one. Eubank Sr. and Jr. are almost one in the same with their patented respect, and gentleman's attitude. I enjoyed this pugilist Saturday...hopefully we see Eubank fight Billy Joe again, or maybe even Golovkin.
