It takes a lot for a rather slow sports game like baseball to make passersby excited, but Shohei Ohtani is doing exactly that. In his debut week, he's done things that haven't been seen since Babe Ruth back 99 years ago.
The question now, of course, is whether or not he can maintain the hype train. Sports critics will point out that opposing teams will get "the book" on him, that they'll figure him out and start attacking his weaknesses.
But the other side of the equation is that Ohtani can also write his own book. Even though he's an incredibly young player, he's already had multiple professional seasons in Japan, and he is a student of the game. Indeed, I'm not aware that he does anything other than practice and play baseball.
All I know is that he's got the skill sets to make this fantasy a reality.
Un excelente prospecto ohtani, es un jugador integral, seguro se mantendrá por mucho tiempo en las grandes ligas, por su múltiples habilidades. Gracias por compartir @bullishmoney.
